It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of KCMSBL Hall of Fame First Baseman Ray Jewett.
Ray passed away peacefully in his sleep last week following a battle with multiple health conditions.  He was a longtime member of the KCMSBL, a frequent player on post-season Phoenix World Series Teams, and a wonderful teammate to many.  While he is no longer on our roster, we know the roster he is now on is in a far better place...where there are no bad hops, the sun is never in your eyes, you get to hit pearls for BP, and the wind is always blowing out. 
In honor of Ray a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at the Tanner's on 143rd and Metcalf, starting at 2:30pm.  Please reach out to Bryan Krantz (bkrantz12@gmail.com) if you plan on attending.
